KJL Memorial Fund Post: We recently had the privilege of partnering with @Onepercentbball to provide free basketball clinics for our community. Approximately 180 athletes from across the area joined us for two days of learning, growth, and fun. We chose to host these clinics because basketball was one of Koby's favorite passions. He loved the game, the friendships it created, and the lessons that it taught both on and off the court. The mission of One Percent Basketball - to help athletes improve every day through hard work, character, and a commitment to continuous growth - aligns perfectly with the values of the KJL Memorial Fund. Together we wanted to create an opportunity that honored Koby's love for the game while giving young athletes the chance to develop their skills and confidence. It was amazing to see participants meet new friends, catch up with old teammates, put in valuable reps, and learn new techniques. Most importantly, they were encouraged to become better players - and even better teammates and people. A heartfelt thank you to @grantmihalick for sharing his time, knowledge, and passion with our athletes. In addition, we would like to thank our volunteer coaches who were amazing all week - Rylan Hurlbut, Taylor Dye, Kayla Cellura, Lyna Howard, Bella Williams, Maddie Williams, Eli Looman, and Jess Looman. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Riverside Local Schools for generously allowing us to use the field house and helping make this event possible. #KJL❤️
