An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training. In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table. The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed. 📘 efl.com/news/2026/may/…

Larkfield and New Hythe FC management update.

Fleet Town FC can confirm that First Team Manager Warren Burton and Assistant Manager Simon Payne have stepped down from their roles. We place on record our sincere thanks to Warren and Simon for their outstanding contribution. Taking over after Christmas, they steadied the squad, added quality, and led an incredible run to the Play-Off Final, including a memorable win away at Tooting & Mitcham United. Their commitment has been unquestionable, especially with the significant travel involved, and they leave with our full respect and gratitude. Warren: “We’ve had a fantastic season and reaching the Play-Off Final was an amazing achievement. This has been a really tough decision, but due to personal circumstances and the 90-mile round trip, it’s not sustainable for me. Thank you to everyone at the club.” We wish them both every success for the future. The full statement and Warren's full message can be read on our website: tinyurl.com/3n6pzwtu
