If Peter Obi wins the 2027 election, his first 100 days would probably shake Nigeria in ways many people are not ready for. Not miracles. Not overnight change. But visible disruption. Here are 20 things most likely to happen early: 1. Government spending will reduce aggressively. Expect fewer convoys, fewer luxury expenses, fewer unnecessary foreign trips. 2. Ministries and agencies may face serious audits. A lot of hidden contracts and inflated budgets could suddenly become public conversations. 3. Subsidy discussions will return immediately. Nigerians may face short-term pain before any long-term structure appears. 4. The naira might react emotionally first before economically. Supporters will celebrate. Investors will watch cautiously. 5. Some politicians who survived on “connection money” may suddenly go quiet. 6. Young Nigerians will become unusually hopeful again. Social media energy alone could change national mood temporarily. 7. There’ll be strong resistance from powerful interests inside government institutions. 8. Expect tension between old political elites and a reform-driven presidency. 9. Federal appointments may become less “godfather based” and more competence focused — at least publicly. 10. ASUU, universities and education funding may receive faster attention than usual. 11. Nigerians abroad may start reconsidering returning home if policies look stable. 12. Corruption cases could increase dramatically in headlines during the first months. 13. Some governors may suddenly become “friends of transparency” overnight. 14. The civil service could experience pressure to digitize operations faster. 15. There may be attempts to cut waste in National Assembly spending, and that alone would create national drama. 16. The stock market may respond positively to stability signals, especially if foreign investors regain confidence. 17. Fuel prices may still remain painful initially, which could disappoint people expecting instant relief. 18. Media attacks against him would intensify heavily once reforms start touching powerful pockets. 19. Nigerians would become more politically divided online than ever before. Supporters and critics would clash daily. 20. The biggest change may not even be money. It may simply be Nigerians feeling like leadership is finally trying to look responsible again. A New Nigeria is Possible.

All he wanted in that moment was one chance, just one, to say a proper goodbye. His eyes carried the weight of everything he never got to fix. He begged. Not with pride, but with a broken, heavy heart. He wept and called out to them the way only a father can: “My children, please. We are victims too.” Nobody answered. They moved closer. A knife found his throat. A camera was already rolling. He asked himself quietly, is this real?, and for a second, maybe he hoped it wasn’t. But the blade didn’t lie. The pain told him everything. They didn’t stop. Not until it was over. Maybe he wasn’t your father. Maybe he wasn’t from your tribe or your side of the country. But death doesn’t check your ID or your region before it knocks. If it could happen to him, it can happen to yours. 2027 is on the table. And the choice sitting in front of you is simple, choose the money, choose the stomach infrastructure, choose the temporary, and we will bleed like this for another eight years. The blood is already on the ballot. Choose wisely.

I am a Muslim then a solid Ibadan son whose great great grandfathers came from Iresa-apa to defend the Oyo Empire. Islam is my only pride. I respect my Yoruba culture so far it does not run foul of my Islamic belief. I hate terrorism and terrorists of all cultures n religions.

Our Yoruba people are the funniest set of people...give them that Yoruba Nation and see the replay of Ibadan-Ekiti rivalry, Ẹ̀gbá-Ibadan fight, Ẹ̀gbá-Ìjẹ̀bú issue...Ife/Modakeke, Ifon/Ilobu, Ọfà/Erinle, etc, still dey. Only Islam can unite the Yorubas. Ẹ gba fún Ọlọhun.

The way some of you tweet lies confidently on this app for numbers is crazyyy. If you continue moving like this, you will soon do jail. And this is not an attack, but from someone who doesn’t want you to end up there, this isn’t the right way to build a brand. Change!
Danny Of Owerri🇳🇬🇺🇸🇳🇬@DrDanny2030

Even Goddluck Jonathan that arrested Shola didn't send him to Prison. He was at Goodlucks house in Abuja and stayed in their boys' quarters for 3 months. Men have a level of sympathy.

Peter Obi is “clueless” because he does not 'sound intelligent' in interviews to you? Is public speaking now the measure of intelligence? The man with the following professional record is clueless? He: Served as Chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc. Served as Director of Fidelity Bank Plc. Served as Chairman of Next International Nigeria Ltd. Served as Chairman of Guardian Express Mortgage Bank Ltd. Served as Chairman of Future View Securities. Served as Chairman of Paymaster Nigeria Ltd. Served as Chairman of Chams Nigeria Plc. Served as Director of Chams Nigeria Plc. Served as Director of Data Corp Ltd. Can a clueless man lead multinational companies? Peter Obi is also globally credentialed, with advanced certifications from: Saïd Business School Lagos Business School Harvard Business School Columbia Business School Kellogg School of Management Cambridge Judge Business School London School of Economics and Political Science Yet he is “clueless” because he does not 'sound intelligent' in interviews? Peter Obi also received multiple recognitions as one of Nigeria’s best-performing governors. Highlights of his tenure in Anambra State: Education WAEC/NECO ranking moved from 26th to 1st nationally and remained there for years. Rebuilt or rehabilitated 1,300+ schools. Returned mission schools to churches while maintaining government funding. The World Bank studied the “Obi Education Model.” Health Won the $1 million Gates Foundation award for best immunization performance. Polio was eradicated in the state. Accredited 12+ health institutions from virtually none in 2006. Built a state teaching hospital and equipped missionary hospitals. Infrastructure & Economy Built or rehabilitated 800–900+ km of roads and 28 bridges. Attracted major investments like SABMiller’s $100M+ brewery and Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing. GDP grew by roughly 40% between 2009 and 2011, from N735.8B to over N1 trillion. Rated the least indebted state by the DMO. Left office with over N75B in cash and $150M in investments. Created Nigeria’s first sub-sovereign wealth fund. Security Turned Anambra from a kidnapping hotspot into one of Nigeria’s safest states. Recorded no bank robberies in the final years of his administration. Distributed security vehicles to all 177 communities. Human Development HDI ranking improved from 8th to 3rd nationally. Recorded major gains in education and health indices. Look, Busola, you are my guy. I went this far to show you that you are lying and you know it. If Peter Obi sounds unintelligent to someone in interviews, that is a problem with the person's cognition. A man who has spoken with global leaders and commanded clearly has substance to share. Criticize Obi if you want, but use better arguments than this. You won't find any arguments to use, though. But you are lying. This 'he is cluess' is an obviously shameful lie.
Duke Of Idanre🤴 (FKJW)@Iam_akinbusola

PBAT has failed in securing Nigeria and yes that alone is a big deal and should be voted out. Peter Obi on the other hand is as clueless as anything, he doesn't sound intelligent in most of his interviews. He has not shown the capacity of the kind of President Nigeria needs.

@KayodeFalana5 @_Nsznn Yes I know pairing GehGeh with Wole Soyinka is an insult, GehGeh someway or the other, using euphemism and satire to pass his points has helped countless gullible youths save money. Wole Soyinka on the other hand has made history but a selective one. So tell me what I'm missing

If Yorubas don't rise up, and reject Tinubu in 2027, Islamic terrorism in Yoruba land will doubldown if he's reelected. The wise Yoruba people have seen this, and they are supporting Peter Obi for president, because he will definitely fight the terrorists in the Southwest and defeat them.
