I’ve received a lot of “I love the colours,” and that’s been incredibly affirming because they’re doing exactly what I intended them to do. The primary crimson red is intentionally named “The Stop.” 🛑 It’s designed to command attention, the kind of red that makes you pause, absorb, and truly see the message. It’s supported by a deep mahogany tone that introduces richness and contrast, while the complementary colours are carefully selected to reinforce the brand’s purpose without overpowering it. The colour system isn’t screaming for attention but Instead, it acts like a breath of fresh air in a stale room saturated with soul-less predictable cold blues. It stands confidently, distinctive, but not desperate. All illustrations and iconography were thoughtfully crafted by me to ensure cohesion across every touchpoint of the identity system. I’ll be sharing the full brand identity project on Behance soon. 🚧

So a couple of my friends came over to stay for an extended period of time, and we kept arguing about who gets to cook. To solve that, I decided to design an app. To show them I was serious, I went all in, designed the brand identity and everything. The entire process took under 5 hours cumulatively. All illustrations were done by me, the logo as well, and no AI tools were used. I’m planning to develop the app, so let me know if it’s worth it. PS: it solves the exact problem we’re currently facing, so I may not have considered other use cases in this first iteration. Will share more screens soon.
