The Secretary of State for Health sits in Parliament for 150 days & gets paid £151,649, plus perks. He telling nurses who work 12hr shifts, sell their days off & use food banks, to work harder to “justify” a pay rise, is beyond ironic. It’s disgusting. Back the nurses please.

Something I wish anti-independence campaigners would realise (though I suspect they don’t on purpose) is that Scottish independence isn’t about any single party. It doesn’t belong to any single party. It’s bigger than that. It’s a life-altering path for Scotland.

Disheartening to hear of student nurses dropping out of training because they can’t afford to get to their placement because of the price of fuel, train or bus fare. @theRCN are you aware of this? Where can we signpost them for help?
