@Syazmi_CL Never know when luck strikes. I'd pack 2 tubes with a patching kit for anything over 100km. But that's just my theory failure can be avoided if you go in able to fix it.

@KayuhLifePing It’s plausible with the right type of tyre.
My Schwalbe Marathon tyres with Maxxis inner tubes have survived 2,000+ km without a single puncture. But bringing few gram of extra emergency patch won’t hurt

I experienced this when cycling in rural Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan. Village folks are welcoming and wholesome. That “kampung spirit” we don’t really see in cities anymore

@Syazmi_CL @duraNOTace Once, there was a crossing painted across a junction nearby (it was green). They had to literally cut it off the road again a week later because the paint they used was so gloss, cars spun out on it in the rain.

Malaysia's PBT, they really struggle to build a really proper junction like those in Singapore, Australia, Japan etc. here is an example of not thoroughly going into the design, and just slap some copy paste AutoCAD drawing into the urban planning board.
