Too many people see "going to therapy" as a punishment, they just want to get it over with to say they did it, feel absolved then go right back to doing what landed them there in the first place because they see no actual issue with themselves

Btw. Saying “i’m going to therapy” after you screw someone doesn’t absolve you of your wrongdoings. And having been screwed over doesn’t give you the right to do the same to someone else.
