It was a combination of unfortunate circumstances People calling out cultural, religious issues (tyla, church mv...), performative boycott and so on and they happened to catch the heat of it all at the same time They just blindly do whatever the company gives and that's on them

Lsrfm branding was all about them being fearless, overcoming adversities... Like, okay lol you're making music what do you need adversities for? And where is that gonna come from? And if there's none, then what? hybe started manufacturing it themselves

It seems that the HYBE strategy is to set their groups up for hate, and then make songs to "diss the haters" as some kind of underdog comeback story. It's really sad, seeing as they wouldn't be dealing with nearly so much hate if not for their own company.

@pomusana Companies can terminate a contract on a whim or little controversy and they wouldn't bear any legal consequences. The artists? Even if their privacy is invaded, being ostracized and sabotaged, they can't leave and the company just has to say "we will do better" and that's it

@pomusana Like those contracts are just nonsense Sure, if they hadn't yet paid all their debts, them having to pay it back is a given. But no, no debt left, generating triple of what was invested and yet mf wanna talk about penalty fees? And only the artists side have clauses like that

newjeans could’ve had 0 reasons for wanting to leave hybe and I’d still support them. slave contracts are inhumane, and the only way out is getting sued or suffer until the contract expires. I would never and won’t ever support a system like that. they’re humans not objects
