@CityPowerJhb Was the contractors paid for 'replacing feeders' that weren't replaced? Is there any corruption involved, does the PP need to investigate the depth of the corruption if any? It's time for a proper investigation because Rabie Ridge residents have become a soft spot

Allendale Substation: We are aware of a power interruption affecting customers in Rabie Ridge. Operators will be dispatched to investigate the cause of the outage. The outcome of investigations will guide the restoration strategies.
We will keep customers updated on developments.

*Allandale Substation:* Our team is currently on-site awaiting instructions to isolate the fault before the replacement of the three feeder cables can continue for customers in Rabie Ridge Extensions 1 and 2.
The outage was caused by a double fault. At this stage, we do not have an estimated time of restoration (ETR).
Affected customers will be updated as and when new information becomes available.
City Power remains committed to restoring electricity supply to all affected customers safely and as quickly as possible.
