@SirTerrenceSA@LLudada92783@SABCNews Very bad my brother. It's heart breaking what's happening to the young people in our generation. And it's getting worse because of the education they are receiving and young women continuing to have unplanned children.
WATCH | March and March founder Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has accused government of provoking violence, saying authorities are “itching for violence” and using the situation to test their power. She warned that if government does not meet the movement’s demands, “they will see.”
@SirTerrenceSA@LLudada92783@SABCNews My brother I live in Bloemfontein, it's young people who were looting. Now the older people are suffering as the shops are closed and no access to the things they need at the shops.
@MarcioJodi@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA How do you know? Do you have proof of that? What happened in 2024 when the President of the country gave them a deadline to register their businesses?
@KingOfLowOdds@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA They do have that opportunity, have they taken it up? From 2024 how many tuck shops have they opened? You must keep in mind this isn't the first time they are told to open up their own shops. We don't support each other hence we don't own businesses.
@VGasa6839@Buja3D@Judaeda3@MbuyiseniNdlozi Why? How will you replace what they are offering here in South Africa? What skill do you have and how will you create employment for your fellow S. A's?
@LLudada92783@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA That's true. However, March and March aren't law enforcers and the young people saw that hence they decided to take advantage of it. To do things their way with what they saw from March and March.
@KeabetsweMolete@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA So what? If they decided to loot police must deal with them,March and March is not encouraging any lawlessness and we had Marches all over the country there was no looting .
@LLudada92783@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA So you only care about the area you are at? Are you sure you are South African? Bloemfontein is in the Free State, S.A., A province government by your people. You should care. Young people are looting.
@KeabetsweMolete@SABCNews@SirTerrenceSA Police must do their job ,they always telling us about we not allowed to ask people their passports its the job of the police ,so they must arrest the nyaope boys ,whe we March we March with police in our presence, we dont give a damm what's happening in Bloem
@LLudada92783@Jewels_MsJay@SABCNews They can't, hence they are here as immigrants or refugees. They are all over Africa. And what exactly is the problem with them being in South Africa legally? Illegally I understand.
@KeabetsweMolete@Jewels_MsJay@SABCNews It's still gonna be bad ,we dont want Somalians here, all of these black asses must go fight their own governments.
@SirTerrenceSA@SABCNews Chasing international migrants away won't create jobs for S.A's, it never does. What can we don't as S. As to change out situations and help create employment? Those people are skilled. Are S. A's skilled? My hair dresser is either from Ghana or Lesotho.
@KeabetsweMolete@SABCNews But our government must also be held accountable. They allowed fellow South Africans to starve while foreigners eat right in front of us. There are no job opportunities, and it feels like they simply do not care about their own people at all.
@SirTerrenceSA@SABCNews The governmnt cares my brother! We have SASSA and the majority of S. A's are on social grant. We have a depend state. Now basically what you are saying is that the government should be our parents. Why can't we help ourselves with the opportunities that the government gives us?
March and March is calling on gov to stop processing refugee applications for 40 days.
This is expressly against the law. Both domestic law and international law.
@afroghanga@Judaeda3@MbuyiseniNdlozi Imagine at night! And it happened in 2024 the same thing. Afterwards, nothing changed. These kids just taking advantage as they see how March and March is operating. Taking the law into their own hands. Lack of leadership.
@Jewels_MsJay@SABCNews I believe it's called "afro phobia!" It's sad really when we can't stand together and S. A's thinking they are better than migrants. The shops in the townships are closed now, the people are struggling. The economy is struggling even worse in Bloemfontein because of looting.
@SirTerrenceSA@SABCNews It is bad. There wasn't much business in the townships and in the CBD as some people didn't go to work. Some shops were closed, losing business. And some school kids also didn't go to school as their busus were thrown with stones...
@KeabetsweMolete@SABCNews That’s bad. We hope that after receiving that information, they will try to assist wherever they can. I saw some videos during the day.
@SABCNews “If the ANC does to you what the Apartheid government did to you, then you must do to the ANC what you did to the Apartheid government.” – Nelson Mandela
@Jewels_MsJay@SABCNews I was thinking the same thing!! How do we know that all Asians in the country are documented? Do you remember the undocumented Palestinians from Gaza that arrived in the country I think few months back?
