@wingheart 2 very strong personalities, probably a lot of unstoppable force vs immovable object situations & arguments. Ppl in their ears (Priscilla, other family members on both sides, execs/industry ppl, friends = mg guesses).

@Timothycullimo1 @KeanBeanThree She also told me she feared a custody battle. They really loved each other, and I thought they made a great power couple.

Will Michael be able to rest in peace one day ?

@wingheart I imagine they also had a number of ppl absolutely shook re: the power aspect. Those who expected or previously enjoyed access to them individually b4 probably feared getting cut off once they married & LMP seemed quick 2 call out BS/verbalize suspicions

@wingheart I remember fans yrs b4 ‘09 genuinely wondering who 2 reach out 2 cuz something felt “off” re: certain ppl around. Liz Taylor & Mac were the most suggested. if even ppl close to him (Janet, Rebbie, *genuine* pals, LMP, U, etc.) struggled = says a lot re: complicated things bts

@WickedCoolBeans People tried…trust me. Michael had a very strong personality and believed he knew more, especially regarding doctors and business ppl and advisors. Janet and Rebbie tried relentlessly. His success proved to him, he was usually right, until he wasn’t.

If I was a “Jackson” I would be very cautious and remain suspicious of the ppl in the industry that destroyed Michael.

@wingheart 2 many snakes found access💔some media figures should be kept far away too. Ex: Kimmel- entire segments mocking/demonizing MJ, the courthouse stunt w/ the bouncy castle + kids + mugshot, or Bigi’s childhood photo turned into this in his hone & a joke years later. Sick behavior.

@wingheart I also think some 4get there’s a huge difference between analyzing events decades later & actually loving someone while living through it in real time. The proof? The amount of “wow! I never knew that happens/they did that/that was done to you/him” comments

Michael is dead. Now they control everything that was created by him…his music, his property, his money, his fans, his family, now even his children. Except for Paris.

@wingheart I appreciate that u continue sharing your perspective & lived experiences, even knowing *some* ppl only want “truth” when it fits their comfort level. can’t imagine carrying decades of memories, grief, loyalty, & hurt while trying 2 humanize some1 2 many reduced to headlines.

@HannahDavi00 I have no idea. I was never booked to do his makeup and hair for this event, if he was invited, went or did not attend. That is all I can tell you.

I think the Met Gala is ridiculous and an egocentric display of out of touch celebrities and designers who think they are important, while others are dying in war, hunger and suffering. Stupid humans.

I really miss his joy. He was an amazing mentor. He believed in everyone’s highest potential and supported each of us in reaching it. He was never jealous or threatened by our successes. He celebrated it.

@wingheart Thank you for sharing this. If you’re comfortable, as his friend, how did you approach being there in those moments? Did you find it was more about just listening and being a safe space?

First working with MJ I wasn’t at all privy to his “business”. I recall Ron Wiesner being in the mix. What I really remember is MJ telling me he was very fearful of Don King and his father pounding on his bedroom door at Hayvenhurst, trying to break in.

@wingheart U mentioning how frightened he was really stuck with me… I remember u saying he’d try to lock his door & hide in his room. If it’s okay 2 ask, did he ever mention how others in the house responded during those times or what the dynamics were? sounds scary +incredibly isolating.
