The Child Protection Network, Cross River State Chapter has issued a strong press statement through its Chairperson, @KebeIkpi.
It is deeply troubling that officials of the Calabar Urban Development Authority could publicly assault children with machetes in broad daylight, and still, no immediate accountability.
This is unacceptable.
Shout-out to @StreetPriests for standing their ground and rescuing the children, even in the face of physical assault.
I’ll continue to share updates as this case unfolds.

@KebeIkpi The new birth is a miracle... Cos how can one explain the new creation by just merely confessing Christ's Lordship? One becoming a Christian is a miracle on it own to begin with. Any 'Christian' who doesn't believe in miracle does not believe in who he says he truly is
