The "Longevity" Logic (Saturn) Why Saturn Rules Old Age The Connection: Saturn is Ayushkaraka (Significator of Life Span). The Logic: Saturn moves slowly. Therefore, a strong Saturn slows down the aging process and the approach of death. The Insight: People with strong Saturn often look older when they are young, but look younger when they are old. They "preserve" well. The Remedy: Respect the elderly. Since Saturn rules old age, serving older people is the most direct way to strengthen your own longevity and vitality.

If the D9 (Navamsa) Lagna falls in the 1H/5H/9H sign from D1,then is auspicious condition and strengthen overall chart. If the D9 (Navamsa) Lagna falls in the 6H/8H/12H sign from D1,then it is a difficult position and can affect overall health. #astrology

Here I was mainly referring to the 7th house and 7th lord in the D9 (Navamsa), because D9 reflects how relationships sustain and mature over time. But D1 is still important: D1 shows relationship opportunities, attraction patterns, and external events, while D9 shows the deeper durability, evolution, and inner quality of the marriage itself

Navamsa (D9) Stability Rule Astrological sutra: The strength of the 7th house and its lord in the Navamsa chart determines the long term durability of marriage more reliably than the birth chart alone. The birth chart shows relationship opportunities, while the Navamsa reflects how relationships mature over time. Observed reality: Some relationships appear strong initially but weaken later when Navamsa support is low, while others strengthen gradually when Navamsa stability is high. Evaluating divisional chart harmony provides deeper long term relational insight beyond surface compatibility.

Narayana Murthy is nothing more than a glorified Program Manager who was at the right place at the right time. Low cost, high volume deliverables kept them afloat for decades. Even the minimum wage in the US two decades ago is significantly higher than what an engineer gets paid at Infosys to this day. The fact that Infosys has remained a sweat shop since its inception with zero softwares brought to the market and transforming into a retirement home of IT coolies whose only aspiration in life is a work trip to the US, speaks about how socialist the Infosys philosophy is, and how low agency and mediocre India’s software developers were for 30 years. How a genius like Sikka ended up at Infosys is quite astounding. Albeit, the early employees gained from hitting the jackpot with the shares enabling thousands of them to become millionaires. And today, we have brilliant minds with high agency, willing to take the risk of innovating and going global with their ideas, while Infosys continues to swim in the cesspool of mediocrity, paying shit salaries, while Murthy and his boomer stock of co founders and executives continue to accumulate insane wealth, while projecting modesty on the outside. Classic champagne socialist behaviour. Modesty is just the facade because they always knew, they never deserved the wealth they accumulated and they wilfully prevented people from taking high stakes risks, because they feared their profit margins would reduce if the company innovated and created the need for investing in talent who wouldn’t settle for the salaries of a fuel station employee. Granted, they employed lakhs of people and lakhs of families went from lower middle class to upper middle class or upper class even. That way even Indian Railways can claim credit for the same reasons. In between all this, we have somehow bred a generation of people who only care about increasing their networth by hook or crook, and not willing to put in the effort and intellectual rigour in building world class products. And we expect to compete with Silicon Valley with a handful of genius entrepreneurs who shunned mediocrity. With the capital Infosys had, they could have easily setup their own Y-Combinator and used the ideas coming out of it to become force multipliers creating an organic ecosystem of innovation labs across the likes of TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro et al, and by now, India would have been on par with the US for technological innovation. But we had Narayana Murthy who thought AI was hyped and rejected the idea to be an early investor in Open AI. And this guy is supposed to be a technology leader. 😂

I prefer Gift city despite small tax inefficiency over buying the ETFs / UCITs directly through portals, Vested, IndMoney (bringing 3000 UCITs soon), IBKR, other global brokerage or discount brokerage platforms. Currently my global exposure is through Mutual Funds only and I will at some point of the time in future will take through Gift City. Please note, in case the exposure is through ETFs domiciled in US, the inheritance tax will be applicable if the market value is more than 60,000 USD. This can be circumvented by buying UCITs. But you can not circumvent TRANSMISSION formalities. Transmission of units in case of death of the unit holder will not be easy considering money is in another jurisdiction. The cost to claiming that money will be significant percentage of the Assets (for smaller portfolios). Many people assume their family can simply use their ID and password to sell investments if something happens to them. That is illegal and can create serious complications. @contliving

What is Pole Altitude? Stand outside. Look up. The point directly overhead is the Zenith. Now look down to the horizon. Between zenith and horizon is 90°. Every star has an altitude. Altitude is the angle from the horizon up to the star. A star on the horizon has altitude zero. A star at the zenith has altitude 90°. A star halfway up has altitude 45°. The celestial pole is the one point in the sky that does not move. The whole sky turns around it through the night. In the northern hemisphere, Polaris sits very close to it. Pole altitude is the angle from the horizon up to the celestial pole. That is all. The result the module establishes is this: pole altitude equals latitude. - Mumbai sits at 19°N. The pole sits 19° above the horizon. - Delhi sits at 28.6°N. The pole sits 28.6° above the horizon. - At the equator, latitude is zero. The pole sits on the horizon. - At the North Pole, latitude is ninety. The pole sits at the zenith. One night of careful watching, one measurement of the pole's height, and you have your latitude. This is the first measurement in spherical astronomy and every later measurement rests on it. Now return to the figure. The earth's centre, you the observer, the local vertical (v̂), the rotation axis (n̂) — four elements. The angle from your vertical to the equatorial plane is your latitude φ. The angle from your horizon to the celestial pole is the same φ. The figure proves the equivalence.

Doctors Warn Parents: Don’t Ignore Your Child’s Snoring ⚠️ Many parents think snoring is normal, but doctors say persistent snoring, mouth breathing, and restless sleep in children can be signs of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) — a serious condition that reduces oxygen to the brain and body. It can cause: • Daytime tiredness • Poor concentration & low energy • Irritability or hyperactivity • Falling grades in school • Stunted growth Important: Early treatment (like surgery in some cases) can completely transform a child’s health and development. If your child snores loudly or breathes through the mouth while sleeping, consult an ENT doctor immediately. Don’t sleep in peace — get it checked! niftykaboss.com
