I wonder if the Flyers might think about making a change to their third line for game 1 against the Penguins. With Pittsburgh getting the last change they may want some more size on that line. I wonder if it’s possible that Tyson Forester ends up playing with Cates and Michkov.

Agree. Buying out Coots would have a $6.5M - $6.8M cap hit for the next four seasons. You would need to spend at least $2M to find a 4C as good as him in that role. He's overpaid, yes, but as a 5v5 4C who is great on the PK he is perfect

@ADiMarco25 You don't throw good money at bad. His contract sucks, we all know that, but since moving to 4C he has actually been playing very well. He's been physical, he's still one of your top penalty killers and FO guys. Leave it be. And if theres an injury he can play higher if need be

@charlieo_conn I think he has elite traits, and he's only going to get better with experience. You can build around him. I think eventually he plays with Zegras and Tippett, then Danny has to get a big time center to play with Konecny and Foerster.
