President Carter has lived an exemplary life most people could only dream of. He served America in the Navy, where he helped avert nuclear meltdown disaster. He was a state Senator, then Georgia Governor, and 39th President of the United States of America. After his presidency, he dedicated the rest of his life to serving humanity by building houses in Habitat for Humanity, and he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. God willing, he will celebrate his 99th birthday in a week. I consider myself lucky to have lived to witness such a good, kind man help so many people.
