Going out on a limb here... but it could be that... The #Panthers used a whopping 11 different starting offensive line combinations across 18 games which tied for the most in NFL history in a single season. (Rams 2022) Ickey and Moton were only responsible for 20% of the sacks allowed last year. A total of 6 sacks. The other 29 came from the rest of the line. Reminder that Ickey missed the first two games of the year recovering from an appendectomy.

Texas A&M’s Tyler Onyedim (#11) is going to be such a useful player in the NFL. Explosive get off, active hands, and long arms. Played all over the D-line, too. Onyedim was top 10 nationally in run stop rate among IDL this past season (11.7%).

He’s easily one of the most underrated CBs in the league, but he is starting to creep up there in age…
I’d hate to see him go, but if the Panthers decide a CB is the BPA early, I’m worried what the future might look like.

Utah OL Caleb Lomu spent last night with the #49ers (27th) on a Top 30 visit, as SF continues to do work on the top OLs. Imagine Lomu is a possible be a trade-up target. He spent time with the #Rams, #Panthers, #Texans, #Bears, #Lions, #Browns, #Chiefs, #Eagles and #Dolphins.

Hot take… kind of 🤔
Jacob Rodriguez will NOT go in Round 1.
I like the player:
• Elite production (back-to-back 120+ tackle seasons)
• Turnover machine (7 FFs, 4 INTs in 2025)
• High IQ, instincts, true defensive leader
But here’s the reality:
• Limited size/length
• Missed tackles (13.9%)
• Average top-end athleticism
• Can get over-aggressive/out of position
Every year, certain players climb draft boards off hype.
Rodriguez can absolutely be a solid NFL starter — just not a 1st-round talent in my opinion.
