Personally I feel it is excessive and unnecessary. Don't you have courts in your country or are you promoting summary justice if you can call it that?

They ordered the baton soup they were given. They were first asked nicely to leave private property, they didn't. Then they were warned that the police would use force if they didn't leave private property, they didn't. The police are doing exactly what the police are supposed to do.

@fairfunxyz @ramzyyalii @solana In my case, I am doing a public mint, I will manually add index, mint and weights to the merkle tree and keep updating the root until we mint out. Once we mint out I will lock the root so even I can't change anything. Another program splits the platform fees and NFT royalties.

@fairfunxyz @ramzyyalii @solana I can make it hourly but each period requires a bitmap PDA to track claims, and rent grows with more NFT's. I opted for bi-weekly to keep it lean. As well as weight/mint, the merkle tree contains the index to track claims in those bitmap PDAs. We flip the bit when claimed.

This is perfect, so the longer you hold token the higher your stake in project's revenue, that finally gives an incentive not to sell at first pump. But why bi-weekly can it be more often like once an hour? Or is there other mechanism to protect from whales sniping supply at exact moment of snapshot and then selling right after?

@fairfunxyz @ramzyyalii @solana It accumulate over time, in my case it's bi-weekly snapshots, that amount is divided by the total weight, which we distribute to holders. This allows us to set different weights and have tiered NFT's, perfect for 1-of-1's. We claim on behalf of owners but it is permissionless.

@fairfunxyz @ramzyyalii @solana I have it in my production repo. Utilizing NFT's in a merkle tree containing the mint/weight, the root proves inclusion. Epoch snapshot determines payouts. Owner of NFT at time of claim gets the payout, but it must be a pubkey on curve, excluding escrow/PDAs Will open-source.
