It's been a minute, but we're back with a new edition of Where's That Jacksons? 🤔 Name the city/town and state where this Jacksons is located. 🌎📍

The number one question I have gotten for about 45 years is "How can I get into rescue?". Hands down, no contest. Everyone, no matter how much you bash yourselves, has strengths and weaknesses. We're just humans. Look at yourself and determine those things you are good at. How could that benefit a local rescue or shelter? You don't have to be a pro at whatever it is. If you can identify a potential need, go in and tell them how you can help. If you are a handyman, the need is legion. Dogs, chlorine and water mean repairs. Do that. If you are good at the net go in and show them how you can do video and promote the pups expanding their potential adopters. If you have a vehicle and can drive, consider transport. Most of us with rescues or shelters just saw a need and wanted to help dogs. We don't necessarily have Renaissance Man skills, and the weak link often is the one that fails in saving a dog. It's usually us. Just find a local rescue, learn what you can about them and go in and tell them what you can do, or simply ask what they need. It's so easy. Thanks.
