Two years today since we left London and moved to the house by the river. I still love London, and I’m there most of the week, but there’s something about the water, the trees, and the birds in the evening that makes this place feel extraordinary. Tonight Ripon’s cooking roast lamb while a rather exceptional bottle of red opens up in the decanta and I enjoy my traditional Sunday bath after a couple of hours working on the novel. A small anniversary, but one that reminds me how lucky we are to live here.

The latest @liamtuffs1 podcast with @ABridgen is a real eye opener. Very concerning stuff.

What a wonderful morning the Walk was! We are back at the pub and had a beautiful time walking, talking and enjoying the Brentwood countryside. The weather was fantastic and I met some lovely fellas. Great to see blokes supporting blokes! We are going to do this 8am every Sunday! You are all welcome to come, the more the merrier. It’s been brilliant to have a nice walk and put an arm around each other. Thank you so much for everyone coming down and supporting. Now I hope you all enjoy your Sunday. Happy Sunday.
