7/7 FAREWELL TWITTER So that's it - it used to be a blast but it's time to say goodbye (I'm going to take it easy at KeithEdwards121.bsky.social but the small number of friends I've connected with so far are exactly the ones that made Twitter a once great place)

Been off Twitter for 15 months so can't believe I've returned to say this. 'It's the manager ... it's the ref ... it's the subs ...' 'appaling' shameful'. Change the record Pete

1/7 Fs If you added the hours I've spent here it would run to weeks, possibly months. (And we moan about kids glued to their screens - I took this photo in Spain in August) I wanted to share a few final thoughts on why at its best this was a great community..

2/7 FAMILY It's been a great place to capture special moments (strangely nearly always involving food)

3/7 FRIENDS Some decades old, some more recent Many here in Wales, others in the amazing Alfarnatejo pueblo

4/7 FOOD Always my most self indulgent posts but Food and Cooking are a passion.

5/7 FUN You have to search for the fun stuff nowadays and it's going to get worse! But at its best we captured and shared smiles far and wide

6/7 FAITHFUL FRIEND My serious (with hindsight, sometimes pompous) tweets seldom registered But post a cute pic of Chico (and friends) and the likes clock up!

Next year will be 2025, which is the sum of the cubes of 1 to 9! What a great number!

@montie I heard you speak at a housing conference in Wales a few years ago. You came across as a thoughtful, compassionate conservative. I honestly don't know what you're for now. Genuinely want to know what you see as the upside / vision thing that you used to be pretty good at
