11 HEAVEN @CanaryAthletics will take an 11-0 lead to the bottom of the 7th after Allen put up 9 in the top half of the inning.

A HORRIFIC INNING Just keeps getting worse for @ZephyrAthletics. Nine batters have come up for @CanaryAthletics and all nine have scored. It is 11-0 Allen and there is still no one out.

ROMAN EMPIRE Emill Roman rips a 2-run single to make it 6-0 @CanaryAthletics and an error just produced another run. A great pitcher’s duel has been blown open.

HERRERA THE HERO A 2-run double to left by Emmanuel Herrera ends the day for @ZephyrAthletics star Jack Lloyd and gives @CanaryAthletics a 4-0 lead in the top of the 7th.

3 OUTS AWAY That’s what @CanaryAthletics baseball needs for its first league title since 1991. They escape a jam in the bottom of the 6th. Whitehall still doesn’t have a hit.

STANDING OVATION For @CanaryAthletics freshman Alejandro Cartagena who left with a no-hitter and a 2-0 lead. He threw 102 pitches. He walked 4, struck out 9.

BIRDS FLYING HIGH @CanaryAthletics has taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the 6th on a 2-out single by Daifer Moreta. They got a second run on an error in center. Two walks set things up.

AC POWER @CanaryAthletics star Alejandro Cartagena walked two but worked out of trouble with his 8th strikeout. Cartagena has not allowed a hit, but he’s up to 89 pitches. No score thru 5. EPC final.

STRANDED AT SECOND Jorge led off the @CanaryAthletics 5th with a bunt single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt but stayed there. 0-0 going to the bottom of the 5th. An EPC title game classic.
