Reminder: TSA lines wouldn’t be this long if we didn’t put the federal government in charge of it. Abolish @TSA and return the policing power to the states. If you put the federal government in charge of making ice in Antarctica they’d have a desert down there in a decade.

If you are an American currently stuck in line at the airport, you should keep three things in mind: 1) Democrats shut down DHS to stop illegal aliens from being deported. 2) Shutting down DHS had zero effect on funding for immigration enforcment. 3) Democrats have said they will not re-open DHS unless ICE no longer has the power to detain criminal illegal aliens. The Democratic Party, quite simply, cares more about protecting foreigners than representing Americans.

Many of us think of Friday as a payday. @TSA agents are still working without pay. The government shouldn’t be allowed to break its promises to citizens, whether that is to a TSA agent who was promised a paycheck for their work, a senior who was promised a return on their investment in Social Security or a veteran who was promised VA care. The double standard is glaring: if a business owner refused to pay his workers, the @USDOL U.S. Department of Labor would pursue fines against them because it is illegal not to pay people what they were promised. The government creates rules for us but excuses itself. This has to end. In Congress I will hold our government accountable and will work to ensure the government upholds its promises to all of us.

Voter ID doesn’t suppress voting, it suppresses cheating. That’s why democrats are so mad about it. They say it’s already illegal for a non-citizen to vote so we don’t need the SAVE America Act. I say murder is already illegal so we don’t need all of these gun laws.

I’m a New Hampshire native but I lived in Virginia as a teenager for a little while in the 90’s. It was solid red for decades. Now they’re facing a gun ban and aggressive redistricting that will lock Republicans out for decades to come. This is going to happen in more places if the people who “just want to be left alone” don’t wake up and get involved. I hate politics. It doesn’t excite me, it’s boring, and it brings me nothing but aggravation. But there are rooms where decisions are made. When the people who just want to be left alone aren’t in those rooms, the decisions get made by the people who are — and THOSE people aren’t going to leave you alone.
