The rights we enjoy were bought at an extraordinary price. This Memorial Day, let us honor the fallen; not only by remembering them, but by being good stewards of the nation we have inherited.

Memorial Day is for remembering those who sacrificed to give us the freedoms we have today. Each generation has a choice to protect those freedoms or let them fade into darkness. Once freedom is gone, it is hard to win back and never returned without a fight. Our forefathers passed freedom on to us with great personal sacrifice. We must defend it for the next generation. No one is coming to save us. America is the last light of freedom. Stand up. Defend this republic and protect its values because there is nothing like it anywhere else on earth. Our ancestors didn’t die so we could sacrifice our sovereignty and values to invaders or communism. They didn’t sacrifice to benefit some foreign land — they fought to deliver freedoms to us and for the children of America. We must do our part to shepherd those freedoms for future generations, to ensure they have the opportunities and promise that so many gave everything to protect. Reject suicidal empathy. It is not the duty of our government to take from Americans to give to foreigners. We should love our fellow man, but charity should never be forced. Duty of government is to protect us and our rights, not run our lives. America is for Americans. I will always put AMERICA FIRST.

We NEED a balanced budget. Best way to stop new government spending programs is a requirement that any new spending be paired with a new tax to offset it. When people see the tax associated with the spending they’ll probably decline the new spending. There is no “free” money.

Food trucks have proliferated because excessive government regulations made it unreasonably expensive to open a brick and mortar restaurant. Ironically it’s far easier to open a less safe food truck than a normal cafe. How does this make anyone safer?

Prevention measures like an $11 bath mat could save Americans tens of thousands of dollars.   If Medicare would send these out to every recipient in America, I’ll bet the investment would pay for itself in under a year.

When did our government start prioritizing foreigners over US Citizens? When did it become okay to discriminate against actual Americans?

Running for office multiple times isn’t a bad thing. It’s because I care about the direction of our country and feel compelled to do my part to make things better for others. I didn’t run for CD1, I considered running and ultimately did not put myself on the ballot because I followed the President’s lead after he made an endorsement and joined him in endorsing Patronis. I’m donating my congressional salary and self funding my campaign. I don’t need anything. This is my way of giving back. President Lincoln and President Reagan are notable examples of people who ran multiple times before winning. They were both also democrats before they became politically aware enough to know where they fit. As Raegan said, it took a while before he had his eyes opened. Those slinging mud, half truths and mischaracterizing details are working with and for a competitor who thinks the way to win is by being negative because he is unqualified on his own merits. I’m not running negatives against my fellow Republicans. I will win on my own merit because I am the most qualified for the job or I won’t win at all. Everyone else running has been on government payroll for their career. I’ve built real businesses and earned everything I’ve got. I’m willing to serve my community because we need honest representation that can’t be bought. Show me a perfect man and I’ll guarantee you he is lying.

@KeithGross I'm glad Dr. Ward posted about who you are as I kept hearing your name but had no idea why it sounded familiar. It's because you are a professional political campaigner. You're desperate to be a big shot and have run for office what, 5 times? You are not a serious contender.

That was roughly 20 years ago, the same year that President Trump himself was a Democrat and was supporting Hillary Clinton. It was a different Democrat Party. There honestly wasn’t a huge ideological shift with me, it was more about becoming politically aware and understanding where I fit in in the political spectrum. I’ve never been a die-hard liberal or believed in the communist ideology that the current Democrat Party espouses.

End the transgender insanity. We need federal legislation banning the mutilation of children in the name of this insane trans ideology. This should be punishable by death nationwide. It is child abuse.

Never give up your guns. It is impossible for most citizens to carry a firearm lawfully in DC. They expect you to be a vulnerable target with no ability to defend yourself from the criminals they refuse to prosecute and jail. This is the Democrat vision for the entire USA. We depend on China. That has to end. As your next congressman, I will work diligently to reshore jobs and manufacturing so that we can protect our national security.

Big difference between saying only US Citizens can vote and requiring verification that they’re a citizen before they vote. In most states no one checks to ensure they’re telling the truth. Our elections shouldn’t be left to foreigners. There is also a law that says illegal aliens can’t be here — yet there are tens of millions of them still here. If that were not the case then we wouldn’t be so concerned about non-citizen voting. As long as millions of illegals are here it is reasonable to ensure they are not voting and to deport each and every one of them asap.

@KeithGross There is already law on the book and in the constitution that only U. S. citizens can vote. Why another? Federal doesn’t need the voter roles. The constitution states the states handle the voting not the federal government.

Securing our elections is critical. Americans overwhelmingly support the SAVE America Act. We need more patriots in the Senate to demand a floor vote!
