Marti was sacked on Jan 25th, the club signed 4 players on deadline day. None start today under Rowett. Marti should have been sacked weeks before and Rowett hired immediately so he had a say. In fact none signed this year start. The recruitment & planning is beyond shocking.

@AdrianBethune Depends what age group we're talking. Primary it should only be reading. KS4 and 5 they need to be doing homework

Homework should be abolished (or significantly reduced) because it promotes this unhealthy idea to children that you work all day in the day *AND THEN* you do more work at home. Basically, children are taught to mimic the working patterns of teachers. Discuss. 🤔

@AdrianBethune … it also adds to screen time when schools have a VLE setting online quizzes and homework which involves the use of apps, often several!

@AdrianBethune No thought is put into how much time it takes children to complete when every subject chips in. It assumes children have no life outside of school times (hobbies, teams etc). It also adds to workload and sanctions for children. Some reading practice is good I’d say…
