Amendment — the “so scores of other students heard it too” is the leap in logic I made when I tweeted this. But there is currently no actual evidence that anyone else heard it. That’s a sticky problem here.

Seems like the wrong message since 5499 of the 5500 people there last night knew this. The message should be “If you see something, SAY SOMETHING”. The Duke student heard a racial slur, so scores of students heard it too. Alert security and have them ban the racist on the spot!
