3 carriage 185 just left Sheffield for Liverpool with people wedged right down every aisle. I'm glad to see the TPE plan of withdrawing perfectly good stock without any replacement is making their service so comfortable for it's passengers 🤣

I don’t know any of the detailed rationale behind this (I’m sure there is one) but the cold, stark message given out here is that the railway can’t cope with mass transit anymore. Imagine if this approach was extended to places like Wembley or Twickenham

Trainlett was on holiday so I thought I was in for a bit of a lonely day 😞 But then at my cab appeared, like a knight in high-viz armour, a freight driver who asked if he could join me to do some route refreshing! A good time was had by all 😊

Here is the star of the show, 58023, running around its stock at Bridgnorth! I say this a lot about heritage locos but it needs saying more. The work that volunteers put in to getting these locos working again is off the scale - all credit to the Class 58 Preservation Group👏👏

@davidgcant And why stand down-it’s a negative- make it a positive and stand up for Safety promotion of positive behaviour and learning outcomes rather than preaching rules

Think on this. Safety stand downs might sound like a great idea after an issue on site… But here's the thing. What's more important is not the response afterwards but the fact that not enough was done to prevent the issue from happening in the first place.

There has been lots of dark days but I’ve overcome them with love and support from family and friends, the only thing I can say is there is a future afterwards

9 years ago today I walked out of my marriage to my ex wife, I walked down the road to the police station with nothing but my clothes on my back and my phone and wallet Nothing else. The police immediately took my to hospital with a broken jaw and 4 broken ribs & lots of bruises
