Charities such as @ClimateCymru and @AgeCymru are excluding Propel and me from debates. @PACymru — lobbyists — do not want me at a debate next week. Why? Because I am calling out the lobbyists in Wales who operate in the shadows. I am also calling out so-called charities that waste huge amounts of money on PR, conferences and lobbyists. Ed Miliband pushing his Net Zero agenda. In Wales we have the pylon surge. We are fighting 60+ miles of overhead lines, some up to 27 meters tall all running through beautiful valleys, forests, and farmland to connect wind turbines (over 220 meters) to the grid. Protesters say it’ll wreck the landscape forever, kill off wildlife like bats and birds, tank tourism, crash property values, and basically “industrialize” quiet countryside for corporate profit. In February protests outside the Senedd, where hundreds showed up! “No Pylons,” “Stop Bute Energy,” “Dim Peilonau” (no pylons).
