That’s what millions of Americans are thinking after the guilty verdict against Shiloh Hendrix. She was basically convicted for using the “N-word.” You can debate her attitude and the ugliness of the word all you like, but in America, even hateful speech is protected by the First Amendment, according to the United States Supreme Court. Unless you live in Minnesota. Shiloh wasn’t convicted of any offense towards the child. But she was convicted of disorderly conduct against the Somali man filming the incident at the park. Kangmin Lee: Shiloh Hendrix was just found guilty of disorderly conduct. Count 1 towards the child: not guilty Count 2 towards the videographer: guiltyReminder that the “videographer” is a Somalian predator who was charged with raping a teenage girl but was let go. In Minnesota, if a foreigner sexually assaults minors, he goes free, but if you say the n-word, you are punished by the state. Two-tiered justice system. Meanwhile, the man who filmed the incident was identified as a Somalian. His name is Sharmeke Beyle Omar, and back in 2022, he and another man were arrested and charged with sexual assault of a teenager. That case was dismissed. American Nightmare: American mother Shiloh Hendrix faced criminal charges in Rochester, Minnesota for using a racial slur during a confrontation at a park. She was looking at up to 90 days in jail over the incident involving a child of Somali descent and the adult who filmed her. BREAKING – Jury verdict (July 23, 2026): • Count 1 – Disorderly Conduct (regarding the child): Not Guilty • Count 2 – Disorderly Conduct (regarding the videographer): Guilty She received a stayed 90-day sentence, probation, a $1,000 fine, and 200 hours of community service. The man who recorded the video is Sharmake Beyle Omar.[Attach the photo of the KAALTV article with the two mugshots] In 2022 he and another man were charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a 16-year-old. Those charges were dismissed in March 2025 “in the interest of justice.” No conviction. Free speech case or selective enforcement? You decide. Here are even more details on Mr. Omar: Lucky Teter: The man who was filming Shiloh Hendrix was Sharmake Beyle Omar He was previously charged with raping a 16 year old after she ran away from her foster home. According to court records, the teenager told law enforcement that Mohamed Omer picked her up at a Rochester Kwik Trip and offered her a place to stay at his trailer, then propositioned and raped her after the teenager told him she would not have sex with him. The teen said she met Sharmake Omar at the trailer later, and that Omar sexually assaulted her twice. “The teenager said she was kept at the trailer for just under 24 hours with no food, and the two men took her shoes to prevent her from running away.” The prosecutor didn’t attempt to bring the case to trial for 3 years, and the victim aged out of the foster system and left Minnesota, so the charges were dropped. To really put things into perspective, the black man who murdered a young white woman on a train hasn’t faced trial yet. But Shiloh, who used the N-word, has already been convicted. Free speech and the First Amendment are dead in blue states and blue cities. It’s as if these places are now “no-go zones” for the United States Constitution. Their leftwing ideology trumps everything our country was founded on, including the laws and rights in this land. Attorney Andrew Branca put this case into perspective and showed the “sneaky” way the prosecutors bypassed the Constitution to get their conviction. No, the N-word is not illegal. Minnesota is claiming that the magic N-word as used in this case by Shiloh Hendrix qualifies as “fighting words” that constitute the misdemeanor crime of disorderly conduct. In fact, Minnesota case law’s examples of speech-involved disorderly conduct invariably involve either a concurrent threat of violence or offensive speech that lasts for hours, often while the speaker refuses to cease trespassing. None of these “beyond mere speech” aggravating factors exist in the case of Shiloh Hendrix. Many believe blue states and cities will find a way to convict anyone who refuses to toe the progressive line, shows even the slightest sign of dissent, or lashes out in fear or anger. And if you’re white in one of these cities or states, and you’re going up against a foreign POC, you’re probably screwed, even if the Constitution is on your side. There’s something deeply wrong in America, and what’s happening to our justice system is far more dangerous than an “ugly word” protected by the First Amendment. This is a HUGE win for parental rights in Michigan!
During a back to school event, Shane Pruitt simply took a video of pride and transgender flags hanging in his son’s middle school classroom at Parcells Middle School in Grosse Pointe and shared it so other parents would know what was happening. He was respectful. He didn’t threaten or intimidate anyone. He exercised his First Amendment rights.
In response, the school district sent police to his home with a “no trespass” order, banned him from school property, and publicly posted his photo as a trespasser. This made it nearly impossible for a father to even drop his own son off at school.
When Shane first came to me, he was frustrated, exhausted, and being treated unfairly by the district. Several attorneys turned him away. I’m so glad someone pointed him in my direction. We got him connected with the right team — David and Stephen Kallman of Kallman Legal Group — and they fought this all the way.
After a full evidentiary hearing, a federal judge has now granted Shane a preliminary injunction. The no-trespass order is blocked. His photo must come down. And the school is prohibited from further retaliation for his protected speech.
No parent should ever be punished, harassed, or banned from their child’s school simply for speaking up. Public schools do NOT get to silence parents they disagree with.
I’m incredibly proud of Shane for standing firm, and deeply grateful to the Kallman team for once again defending the constitutional rights of Michigan parents and children.
I will always stand up for parental rights and for our kids in this state. This is exactly why we fight 🙌🏻 🇺🇸

Sheridan Gorman’s killer should serve the maximum sentence possible and then be swiftly deported.
Nothing in our laws prevents violent criminals from being turned over to ICE, as we’ve done repeatedly under this administration.
But local police shouldn’t be pulled away from protecting New Yorkers to enforce civil immigration for a rogue federal agency that has killed Americans with impunity and terrorized communities across this country.

As I said a few weeks ago over @GovKathyHochul’s support for this legislation, she is an asshole. Public safety is strongest when lying politicians like Kathy get the hell out of the way and let law enforcement do their job. Her bill prohibits local law enforcement from turning over violent and dangerous criminals to federal law enforcement. Furthermore, she failed to honor detainers for 6,947 criminally convicted illegal immigrants. Kathy, tell the family of Sheridan Gorman why criminal illegal immigrants matter more to you than the safety of New Yorkers and American citizens.
