Due to bad weather, there has been numerous reports of flooding across the UK. This situation has been made significantly worse by the lack of regular street drainage cleaning and reductions in river dredging and river flood defences. We are paying our taxes for what exactly?

These need properly cleaning out and yes I could do it…. But it’s not what I pay my road tax and council tax for

@Keith_Harrison2 @JamesMelville @LibDems @EastCambs Go outside with a broom and clear them, it’ll take a couple of minutes and you’ll be happier for it. Some things you (or someone able bodied if you’re not) can just do yourself without having to call someone out to do it for you.

@Jenny_1884 The best teaching they’ll get is from small companies with one on one tuition but the colleges are shit, the minimum wage is too high for small companies as we have to suck that up, adding more jobs to our days to cover their wage, and finding a good kid is rare!

Kids would be much better off learning a trade rather than go to university where they will be lumbered with debts. Who else agrees with this?
