@DD3461676777718@mazalanmama Great points. Players who go 9/24 to score 23 points and have five turnovers are not efficient. 38% field goal percentage equates to a bad shooting night and great defense.
@mazalanmama If you watched the actual game you would’ve saw raven picked up 2 fouls within the first 2-3 minutes of the game and sat out the whole first half. Blakes had 20 while raven was on the bench and had only 3 points that whole 2nd half Raven played lmao..Raven also block her 3 times
@JerryJonesBrnr@SCNext@HoophallClassic We all know that because discussions around facts is not your strong suit. I obtained my two Masters because I chose to enhance my own self development and improve the quality of life for all people including you. I would hope your life goals are similar.
@JerryJonesBrnr@SCNext@HoophallClassic Those that are new to wbb Coach Staley built the Gamecocks from having 500 people attending games and having no 5 ⭐️recruits to being # 1 in attendance 10 years straight loading # 11 and the standard with 3 Natty’s in the last 8 years. Don’t forget about that 38-0 perfect one 😊
@clairefoleytv@GamecockWBB@wachfox Coach Dawn is the epitome of being a class 1 leader by giving honor to whom honor is due. Pat Summitt was a champion for women’s basketball before it was popular. The legacy that Coach Staley is building in our woman and community is a testament of her greatness. We ❤️ you!

When people talk about the rise of the Indiana Fever, they often overlook the moment it truly began—when the franchise drafted Aliyah Boston in 2023. The team saw an immediate 8-win improvement following her arrival, yet Boston, who has been Indiana’s best player all season, remains one of the most underappreciated figures in the conversation.
A national champion and National Player of the Year at South Carolina, Boston averaged (14.1) points, (10.8) rebounds, and (2.4) blocks in college. Indiana selected her with the No. 1 overall pick, hoping to rebuild after a dismal 5–31 campaign in 2022, where 25 of those 31 losses came by double digits.
Fast forward to Boston’s rookie season in 2023, and the Fever showed noticeable progress. The team improved to 13–27, with 16 of those losses coming by single digits. Boston averaged (14.5) points, (8.4) rebounds, and (1.3) blocks while lifting Indiana from last place to 10th. What they lacked was one more key piece.
Entering Year 2, Indiana was in position to climb. Several teams ahead of them had regressed—Washington lost Elena Delle Donne and Natasha Cloud, Chicago lost four of its top five scorers, and Los Angeles moved on from both Nneka Ogwumike and Jordin Canada. Meanwhile, the Fever returned their top five scorers, added the No. 1 overall pick, and brought back a more experienced Boston.
The result: Indiana secured its first 20-win season since 2015 and clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2016.
Now in her third season, Boston has raised her scoring to (16.2) points per game, while increasing her assists to (3.6) per night—up from 2.2 in her rookie year—along with (1.1) blocks. She leads the league in field goal percentage and remains one of the most difficult post players to defend.
You won’t hear much about Boston’s impact elsewhere—but you’ll hear it here. She’s earned her recognition.
@mitty_wbb@GamecockWBB@dawnstaley Welcome McKenna to Gamecock country. I hope you enjoy your visit and that you find this will be a great place to start your next phase in life. Coach Staley is a great coach but she is a HOF person. We love her and we will love you too. Come on home 🫶🏿
