These years have been demonstrative is showing that asserting a different worldview than this government, and to this government, has not been enough in and of itself to shift it.
Irish people have been defensive - rightly and morally so - and reactive to the actions of the controlling hands of this state we live in and under.
With a bit of confidence having been stirred, the time for claiming the framing of the argument is here.
When you cannot compel or convince a tyrannical power, then demanding they justify their existence and claim on others' lives and choices is a wholly rational and responsible tactic to employ.
If every single councillor and TD were getting letters summoning them to justify their mandate to the public, and this was shown over and over again that they refuse to do so.
This can serve another crack in the facade of socially perceived authority.

There is something so powerful about the way Russell Crowe acts here. It's a forgotten male art. The silent admission, "I don't really want to fucking do this. But I know it matters to you, so I'll do it. BUT you do it my way."
I have yet to meet a modern man who expresses this cleanly. They are deeply SHAMED if they don't overtly profess to like the conditions of their servitude. "Yes I love my kids activities and driving them around." "Yes I love date night, especially the candles." "Yes that's fine." "No, that's not a problem."

There is almost no ROI in being a nice guy. It's a moral posture that achieves nothing, nor is it moral. The dick keeps the monsters at bay, including the lesser nature of his own family.

No words wasted.
Rock solid conversation between 3 strong men who refused to have their thinking shackled and funneled into approved ways of seeing the world.
And underneath the lot of it is pain, loss and anger.
We have all buried people over these last few years
And instead of asking questions, we do the 'moral' thing as Irish people and we do not ruffle feathers by speaking about things that we know others will not approve of
Why?
Fear.
People are afraid, not of the questions, but of the answers
Because the answers will demand a decision from us all as individuals.
Silence is preferred because being silent means you don't have to act.
But choosing silence is still a choice
And in an age where defiance and bravery is sorely needed, the choice to remain silent on these topics will assure that more human life will be destroyed.

So, the most important thing to notice about this video, especially in Ireland, is who has NOT shared it. It's not a definitive measure by any means, because not all the "freedom fighters" in Ireland may have seen it, but give it a few days and check back because it's a great litmus test

We are in a place now where we see, on a screen, fellow Irish people being murdered on the streets of Ireland
We are seeing, on a screen, gangs of foreign men - 'security' - trying to push Irish men around and off their own land.
The screen allows an emotional distance between what is being watched and the watcher.
But if it's close enough for you to know the streets, the faces and the accents, then if is close enough for a massive question mark to be put on all of our lives
It only takes one interaction.
We are being changed
And those who do not change to meet the challenge of this time will love their lives in it

For all who seek your attention, your backing and your vote
Always make the argument for and against that person, to yourself.
What has this person achieved?
Where are the alignments between myself and this person and where are the disagreements - if you cannot find points of divergence, then you may not be fully aware of your own aims, or the other person's.
And always ask - what are the positives of backing this person
And what are the downsides
Again - if you cannot see downsides, in potential at least, then you are probably not thinking as clearly and deeply as you could

It is interesting that many will try and combat this man's perspective by claiming that 'sure that doesn't work' or 'they'll just lock you up anyway'
The latter proves the point this man makes.
But also, it depends on what you mean by 'work'.
I don't think this man is trying to make anything 'work' here.
He is putting forth his worldview and his ontology.
Whether one offers the same view and get arrested or locked up 'anyway' would only serve to verify the perspective of the man in this video.
Regardless. The outcome is secondary, the perspective held and spoken is primary
This man recognises only nature has having say on his life.
Not another man
Not another woman
And no other 'person' playing a role for an organisation which creates its own 'rules' and 'laws/acts'.
This man, whether he be physically free or locked away
Has freedom of mind.
