This Tuesday my library will have SNHD STREET MEDICINE team from 10:30-1:30! This will coincide with our mobile showers. The Southern Nevada Health District?s Street Medicine Team provides essential healthcare services directly to unhoused individuals in my community.

Good morning 🌎! Today Whitney Library is hosting it mobile showers for our community from 10:30-1:30. Everyone deserves a fresh start to their day. It’s the simple things that we take for granted and I am grateful my library can provide a resource for the community!

Showing love to myself this year will be my priority. As a librarian I pour my heart and soul into my work. But I’m getting myself back in shape. I’m also being intentional in looking for my wife. It’s all about balance and I’m getting better at that. Back to the library tomorrow

I’m super blessed to have mobile showers at my library. Today we had 42 people use the shower to jumpstart their day. Having empathy working in the library is a must have skill. You don’t know peoples stories. The library has so many resources to help people. My soul feels good!!

Starting on January 6th my library (Whitney Library) will have mobile showers twice a week on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 10:30-1:30! This is a huge win for my community and my library! Shoutout to my library system and Clean The World for providing showers for my community!
