@DestinysJesus If they brought back the old matchmaking and labeled it as casual, what mode would have more people? We don’t need data, we see it with ranked (👎) We don’t need it, we see the numbers have fallen off continuously since matchmaking change in C6S4. Even more with the server merge

@DestinysJesus I would agree…Except when they shut down my server and move me to the central server. I went from 4-10ms to 30-50ms. So they gave an entire server a complete competitive advantage over another. More following below..

There is no amount of Skill Based Matchmaking that can fix gameplay like this... Getting a Victory Royale in Pubs/ Ranked/ Comp should always be difficult and require some decision making (yes I know I'm vodding pubs zb clips)

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM? Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback @Fortnite @FortniteStatus @JustTeddii PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened? A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. We the common player want a challenge but also we want to feel like we have a chance. Yes this is a skill issue. I am not good enough to be in the vast majority of lobbies I am put in with Fortnite. I love this game and it breaks my heart to see people leave because of something that could be easily fixed. I look forward to hearing your response.

@Myeh1601 @JustTeddii @Fortnite It’s not about winning. It’s about feeling I or my team had a chance. Just make the lobbies make sense. I win 3/5 games, I’m in semi pro lobbies. Gotcha, I understand that. BUT I finish outside the top ten 12/15 matches and nothing changes?!?! I have a “good” K/D but sheeesh.

@Kells_Bells5454 @JustTeddii @Fortnite Not being able to place above 28th sounds devastating. I myself having been playing since C5S1 and I find my skill has improved to the point where im just as average as anyone else. But I'll admit this season definitely feels more aggressive.

@AkiiraGG I hate saying it. But I actually started playing Warzone a week ago. I’m miserable. BUT the casuals mode actually makes it fun getting a handful of kills …even when I place 1st or 15th. It wasn’t a waste of my time.

@QuantumCamper I played Thursday night and Friday night. 2 hours-ish each. No playable lobbies. Highest finish was 4th but only because we spent the whole game rebooting. Don’t really plan on playing for a week or so until it cools off or something gets tweaked.

This... So many games lately are coddling players with AI "opponents" and dumbed down "for everyone" gameplay 😴 Marathon is for gamers who pride themselves in overcoming extreme challenges. The gameplay is brutal, but the payoff is unmatched.

It's really crazy that Bungie could have made an approachable, mainstream compatible, bog-standard extraction shooter, and instead decided to make one of the most brutal, highest skill ceiling, creatively designed multiplayer experiences of all time
