@PeterObi is the defining force within the ADC, without him as the party’s flag bearer, the party's relevance could fade almost immediately. He clearly won the 2023 presidential election, but the Result was sold by @inecnigeria in favour of Tinubu.

Going by the achievements of Seyi Makinde and Peter Obi as two-term governors, both are businessmen who have built industries, both are southerners, Christians, and relatively young leaders. However, Seyi Makinde today appears to have a broader understanding of Nigeria’s problems and political realities based on his governing experience. He is also younger and more energetic. This is why many well-meaning Nigerians, southern leaders, and clergymen should encourage Peter Obi to step down for a younger southern candidate who has the strength and energy to serve a full 8 years. Peter Obi himself has repeatedly stated that he would not want to remain in office beyond 4 years due to personal reasons, even “with a gun to his head.” If that is the case, then it may be better for him to support and mentor a younger leader who can sustain the southern presidency for a 8yr period. He should step down.

@BashirAhmaad I have come to a profound conclusion that many so called Christians are indeed unbelievers. They claim the believe in God but their actions and sayings shows that They don't truly believe in the afterlife.

After burial, a person enters Barzakh, an intermediate state between this world and the hereafter. We believe the grave can become a place of peace and light for believers or a place of hardship for wrongdoers before the Day of Judgment.

As the 2027 general elections draw nearer, in the coming days, I will formally and publicly endorse the candidate I intend to vote and campaign for. My decision will be based on careful consideration, patriotism, competence, vision and what I genuinely believe is best for the development, unity, stability and future of our great country. When the time comes, I will present the convincing reasons behind my position, with the hope of contributing positively to the democratic process and encouraging issue-based political engagement. So help me God!

I have never seen a video of this man properly dissecting a problem and proffering a sound solution. There is no video of him attempting any critical evaluation or intelligently discussing any of the perennial issues militating against the country's progress. It is always the same regurgitated poverty statistics and empty rhetoric. It would be a generational mistake to hand over the presidency to this kind of political fraud.

I do hope that when the campaigns officially begin, the Obidients and their new friends in the Kwankwasiyya camp will allow us to peacefully campaign for our chosen candidates and political party, without them resorting to their usual, constant attacks and hostility, which have sadly become their obvious failed strategy.

APC denied Bashir Ahmad House of Rep ticket, and he came online to spread propaganda on how Kano people are rejecting the OK movement. Your own people rejected you but it's Peter Obi from Anambra state that's your headache. Shame.

So some HoR members ran under LP in 2023 and won with the influence and popularity of Peter Obi, after winning they decamped to APC. and now they want to recontest but APC denied them tickets, they are now moving to NDC to contest again... Anyone voting for them is a fool!

In 2027, don’t be surprised if 90% of the Senate is filled with former governors. A chamber meant for representation is gradually becoming a retirement home for political elites. Nigeria needs fresh ideas, not endless recycling of the same political class.

BREAKING.... 2027 POLLS: OBIDIENT MOVEMENT REBRANDS, SACKS PETER OBI, YUNUSA Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Nigerian political space came under more tension on Thursday with the immediate disbandment of the #Obidient Movement and expulsion of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi; one his disciples, Yunusa Tanko and all other persons appointed under the unauthorised leadership structure that emerged after the 2023 elections. Those behind the sacking premised the decision on political prostitution and its misuse for personal advantage and private gains. Consequently, the organisation has been rebranded to the #OBEDIENT Movement, to disengage it from Obi and his loyalists. Several calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages to Obi and Yunusa were not replied. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja to unveil the organisation, the International Coordinator of the #OBEDIENT Movement, Dr Barry Avotu Johnson, clarified that it has not yet adopted any presidential candidate for 2027 and has ceased to have any dealings with Labour Party. According to him, the rebranding was necessary because after the 2023 elections, the original vision and founding ideals of the #Obidient Movement were no longer adequately represented by those who assumed control of its structure.
