Finished painting two pieces for the set of the Manitou high school play. The other panel is a door, trompe-l'oeil-style. Trompe-l'oeil was my senior thesis project for my art degree. Who knew it would come in handy for painting "Goes Wrong Show"-style set pieces later in life?

In Chapters today I was bewildered to see a copy of Christie's Hallowe'en Party actually *retitled* as A Haunting in Venice. 😬 Store employee commiserated, then said that in terms of the screen, he definitely recommended Poirot in the long-running TV series. 😂

My daughter was in the other room, finishing The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, and I knew she'd gotten to the big reveal when I heard "WHAT?!?!" I came into the room to see the fun. I think she actually threw something. Parenting done right. 🤣 #Poirot
