Our sweet Cooper was baptized today. To know that our baby is a Christ follower and has made the decision to walk with Him gives us such peace. I couldn’t be more proud. Thank you, Jesus, for this gift and the promise it brings. All glory and praise to God!!

I know how hard it can be to wait on God when you want to move forward and you’re seeking His guidance. But while you wait on His answer, don't lose confidence in His goodness. Be strong. Be patient. Cling to His Word. And keep trusting in His unfailing love.

Today is the quietest day of the Christian calendar. No triumphant entry. No resurrection announcement. Just a sealed tomb, a grieving handful of followers, and a silence that must have felt like the end of everything. But heaven was not silent. The cross was not an accident. It was not a tragedy God scrambled to redeem. It was love — deliberate, costly, personal. He gave His Son knowing exactly what it would require. And He did it anyway. For you. "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8 In the silence of this day between Friday and Sunday, there is an invitation — not to rush ahead to the empty tomb, but to let the weight of the cross settle in. To sit with the question: do you actually believe He did this for you? Not for humanity in the abstract. For you, by name, in full knowledge of your story. Maybe today is the day that finally lands.

Sunday, I am off, but I have to be here for Monday. So I am heading to Church 2819 to hear this man preach. To think I am excited to hear a preacher preach is kinda amazing amd new... I cannot wait.

In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life. I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."
