@KMCarlsonAuthor It makes me sick. I read the email where they introduce themselves as me and then proceed to try and deceive the author. Luckily, she was smart and savvy, noticed the email handle was Gmail, found my actual email address and contacted me directly!

@ibdgirl76 @ChadDKollas Plenty of cancer patients don’t need the pain meds but the oncologist keeps prescribing, because they prescribe on auto-pilot.

A 90-year-old cancer patient treated like a drug-seeker. Cut off opioids cold turkey by her own oncologist. Now she’s forced to go to a pain clinic every month just to get medication she was already stable on. @ChadDKollas I am seeing more stories of oncologists doing this. Any idea why?

@ibdgirl76 @ChadDKollas This is cruel. That oncologist needs to do a few rounds of chemo to experience the pain of cancer treatment for himself, and then he’ll understand. This makes me so angry.

There’s nothing worse than a bad audiobook narrator for a book you were excited about. Sometimes I just can’t power through—I have to turn it off and buy the print copy. A bad narrator can ruin a great book.

Winter Garden, FL has the coolest Silent Book Club! The venue changes every month. You bring your own book. There’s no assigned reading, & you mingle with fellow avid readers. There’s 1 hour of allotted, silence for reading. It’s great! These are my people.
