This is certainly correct.
Speaking with other institutions in the field about allocations and Q1 2026 interests— it’s been very apparent that there are a good chunk of wealth advisor platforms that have de-risked exposure since April, and have not gotten back to their normal levels.
It makes Q4 more polarizing as some of those flows will be looking to make their way back into equities on any type of significant dips. And/or chase equities higher to make up ground for underperforming the benchmark.
