I stayed up to 4am watching Nemesis. Decent writing. Struggle acting from some characters. VERY engaging and entertaining however. I was hooked. Y’lan Noel (Coltrane) carried the show on his back.

@veekeeuche When negotiating with influencers I try my best to make all deliverables as clear as day and once I notice the slightest attitude like they feel they’re doing me a favour, I just bounce.
It saves me back and forth cos a lot of them are unprofessional and irredeemable.

I paid an Abuja influencer on TikTok for a one time video, she didn't mention my brand name in the video.
She just tagged me in the caption of the video, I sent her some skincare products and paid her.
I reached out to her again on WhatsApp, asking why she didn't mention my brand name. Aunty said I would have to pay 100k for her to mention my brand name that tagging me was all she could do.
The tagging she did self wasn't correct, asked her to delete the video and post again with the right handle. So when people click it takes them straight to my page she refused.
I had to comment under the video, so far the enquiries and sales were got was worth it.
I felt cheated but God has a way of turning every disappointment into blessings.

In 2026, content and creative direction is turning into more than just promotion I mean, 70-80% of Gen Z music discovery is through videos these days Only about 23% of millennials reported being pulled in by hearing the audio (Ofcourse, these numbers were gotten through sources from AI. You can self research) You would agree this changes the way we perceive the reception of music and confirm that “Music” these days is more than 50% the visual delivery (narrative, story telling, personality) This then makes you understand that a major driving force (except the artiste already has an established brand) is the creative direction of the batch of visuals following the release or pre-release of the song. Therefore, your music (unless you already have a good and active audience) can’t even take step without the videos coming with it. So, you see why it’s time we start asking these questions cause time has come again for Video to kill the radio star
