@rawespresso Some jobs need a degree, others you don't. Sometimes just having a degree opens up future opportunities that aren't there right now. I left Uni, got a job that didn't need a degree but the the degree opened the doors for progression that wouldn't have been there otherwise.

You went to university to qualify for the job you could have got at 18, took on £50K of debt to do it, and now you're stacking shelves while the loan quietly compounds on your back.

@FurkanGozukara Many people are unable to articulate statistics / maths. That's exactly why those kind of numbers are used to "give a message". Reducing the occurrence of something from 2 to 1 sounds crap but a 50% reduction sounds great. Hardly a sign of cognitive decline.
