The National Eucharistic Congress has begun. Many thousands from all over the country have converged on Indianapolis. Let us pray for a great Eucharistic revival.
As we gather in our churches for Masses today, I invite our Catholic community to pray for former President Trump’s full recovery from the attempt on his life as well as for others who were injured and those who were killed. Let peace and good will reign in our beloved nation.

I add my prayers and invite those of the people of the Diocese of Wichita to those of the many persons praying for the repose of Auxiliary Bishop David O’ Connell of LA whose life was taken from him yesterday in his home. How tragic and shocking to say the least.
