Very good insights. Taking into account the overall contributions I am surprised that Elrich was not selected ahead of BJ, but if you want the flexibility of BJ being able to cover lock also, then that very well may be the reason why. Some of Elrich’s numbers are outstanding!

Of course the trade-off with lower tackling can sometimes be a loss of ability to appropriate stop momentum dead (as low tackles can result in players still falling over the gainline) but it is clearly something the Boks appreciate and advocate.

@DanCricket93 Yep. Smith is a weakness at the top of the B team’s order - not in the same class. Team A’s middle order - Tendulkar, Lara and Sangakkar is better. And Team A has an extra bowler - a match-changing allrounder, Stokes. Team A no question.
