If it weren't for @SNMA, I don't know where I'd be. This year, at #AMEC2023 I had some friends ask me how I feel about being #AsianAmerican at AMEC.

At the age of 24, I was diagnosed with a Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism and was hospitalized at Inova Alexandria Hospital. I wasn’t in medical school then, and had no idea what it meant. I just knew I didn’t want to die. This thread is about the the value of #AMEC2023
