During my time at Law School (Abuja Campus), I broke almost every "golden rule" of being a student. Things I never did: • Answered or asked a single question in class. • Stepped foot inside the Law Library. • Stayed in class a minute past break time. • Arrived before 8:40 AM. • Presented for my group. • Sat anywhere but the very last row. • Argued on the class group or checked social chats. • Missed a Friday night at the club. It looked like I wasn't trying, but there was a calculated reason for every single move. It worked for me. I’ll share the list of what I always did later. What’s one "taboo" thing you did in school that actually helped you? 👇

Kwankwaso is not “my boss” he’s an elder statesman and I respect him so much. English isn’t a yardstick for intelligence but the official language spoken in Nigeria is English and as a “self acclaimed national chairman” he should be able to communicate with everyone in our official language. So now what does he do when he meets party members from anambra who can’t speak Hausa ?
Foundational Hausa Man@tman_adam

You're not partisan? Are you sure about that? This shouldn’t come from someone who constantly visits Kwankwaso and posts about it on his social media page. I know you don’t like the man because he has issues with your boss Kwankwaso, but come on, saying his spoken English is bad says a lot about your mentality. Is English now the standard to measure intelligence? You should focus on your car business and stop being hypocritical because of your affiliation with politicians, unless maybe they have a stake in your car business.

I lived in Japan for a year. Most of my experiences were exhausting in ways I’d rather not get into, but this one still makes me laugh. I was on the train in Osaka, minding my own business, when I noticed a group of school kids a few seats down. They were whispering, glancing at me, then whispering again. They kept passing a folded piece of paper between them as if they were planning something top secret. I watched this go on for two stops. Finally, one of the kids was pushed forward by the others. He walked over to me slowly, like he was approaching a wild animal that might bite. He stopped right in front of me, bowed politely, and held out the folded paper with both hands. I opened it. Inside was a handwritten note in careful English: “Hello. We think you are a very cool person. We are practicing our English. We hope this note is correct. Please give us a score.” At the bottom, they had drawn a literal grading box, out of ten. I looked up. Seven pairs of eyes were staring at me as if their entire semester depended on my response. I pulled out a pen, wrote “10/10” in the box, and added a note: “Perfect English. Well done.” The boy carried it back to the group. They read it together… and absolutely lost their minds. High-fives, jumping, and one kid even pumped his fist in the air. Their teacher, who had been pretending not to watch from the end of the car, was biting her lip, trying hard not to smile. I rode the rest of the journey grinning to myself. That’s the Japan I always remember.

Welcome to Nigeria, a country where in a situation a child tells his/her parents the truth it's viewed as an insult.

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family, He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back , When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back, His elder brother was kidnapped, ransom was demanded , Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife, But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve, At the same time, hubby lost everything to them, and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏
