Olivia Chow tells Jewish Canadians to get shatterproof glass. The so-called Minister for Public Safety announces that they’ll throw ten million to add security features to synagogues. Meanwhile, Toronto police tell the people whose synagogues were shot up that they’re basically on their own, the PM can’t bring himself to visit a synagogue (mosques are fine) and the justice system won’t prosecute those terrorising our fellow citizens. What has happened here?! What?!

I honestly thought this was a joke when I first watched it. But nope. It's real. And it's peak CBC in 2026. Instead of just letting deaf viewers watch the actual Juno Awards performance, they put a sign language interpreter front and centre doing full on air guitar and drum solos like he’s the real star of the show. Like... what?? This is so completely ridiculous I'm struggling with how to even write this caption. This is what happens when every single thing has to be turned into a spectacle of “inclusion.” Common sense gets thrown out the window and we’re left with this level of absurdity. Canada really has become a 24/7 clown show. Good Lord 🤦‍♂️
