While finishing up a works cited page I googled "how to cite a tweet in APA bibliography" and the example given was a Trump tweet, it's nice to know there are others out there who also need to cite his "writings"!

I'm experimenting with Canva as a presentation media during the final week of this grant, hopefully this format will make the primary sources I analyzed more accessible! Plus, it's fun to be creative :)

I am excited to announce I will be (virtually) presenting at the Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 10th! I will be presenting my research from last summer on women and political propaganda in Chile's 1988 referendum but hope to tie in this current project too

For those that don't, it's a argument flaw in which two choices are falsely presented as the only two choices available Example- Trump claiming "This election is a choice between the American dream and a socialist nightmare. That’s what it is"

Back into the world of research! I spent part of last week creating a coding scheme so this week I'm going to be wading through and organizing a lot of color-coded google docs...fun stuff! I can almost see my final paper taking shape, which is reassuring :)

the connection, if you're curious- Luis Fonzi (one of the singers of Despacito) introduced Biden at a rally and Biden played part of the song from his phone, the Trump team then used/edited the clip presenting Biden as trying to pander to Hispanic voters

I had to Google "Joe Biden playing Despacito" today after watching a Trump YouTube video with 34 million views entitled "Trigger Warning", and that is a string of words I never would have put together before this project
