@DavidARay, points out this is a tax cut for 1.1M taxpayers giving them an immediate pay raise. @ArkDems made zero amendments to solve the problems they mentioned - they should just be honest on how much more they would like working families to pay in taxes.

Update: @ArkDems say government will solve all our problems if we spend more on government programs instead of letting Arkansans keep more of their hard earned money.

These signs were distributed and displayed a Capitol rally this weekend in Little Rock. Yes, that’s a Soviet-style solidarity fist. And yes, those are NEA and AEA union logos. The rally was an attempt, among other things, to whip up support for the previously failed and now recycled “Education Rights Amendment” which is being circulated for signatures around the state right now. If adopted by voters, the ERA would create multiple, universal, Mamdani-style welfare programs—without any pay-fors or cost estimates—and those programs would be locked in to the state constitution as constitutional rights, regardless of cost. The amendment would also force conformity across ALL Arkansas school options who receive ANY state or local funds and infringe on the religious liberties of Arkansans who want to use scholarships to help their kids get a quality education. Perhaps the communist icon is appropriate after all. Arkansans: Are these your values?

@nhhorton @JoeMama158710 Again, we liked Muss and appreciate what he did. He did restore the program to be nationally respected again, which allowed us to get Cal. Nonetheless, we did miss the tournament Muss’s last year here & every player left except Brazile.

It’s early for Kentucky to move on from Mark Pope BUT if they did you have to think they’d call Arkansas coach John Calipari. Ace recruiter. Knows the SEC. Has made back-to-back Sweet 16s in two seasons with the Razorbacks.

@nhhorton Musselman’s last year here he missed the tournament and only one played remained when Cal took over.

John Calipari ran the Kentucky program into the ground, quit and walked away from a lifetime contract, and then inherited an Elite 8-level program from Musselman—and now everyone from the national media on down is acting like he’s a magician for winning a conference tournament. It’s honestly bizarre. People’s memories are so short.
