Gilbert is 1-0 this year to walking to guys. LY his was under this line In 25/33 starts. Tigers walking at a 13% this year but I think this number is inflated due to dodgers Blake snell and Rosi Sosaki. Gilbert has a 4.6 walk rate ranking in the 95th percentile out of 100
Nathan Eovaldi is needed to eat innings for the rangers today. Bullpen has used all but 4 arms yesterday. Nathan over this line in 19/29 starts last year. He also faced the reds last year and went 6 innings. Nathan pitched 87 pitches in his opening start so I expect around little less than 100 to be his ceiling. LY in his opener he pitched 88 and his second start he went 7 innings for 103 pitches.
