If we want the Ronin ecosystem to thrive again, we need to get closer to traders. As a fair comparison, let’s look at @MaplestoryU $NXPC - Initial launch FDV: $2 B - Still above a $1 B FDV today - Daily trading volume over $1 B By contrast, Ronin and its main tokens haven’t even cracked $100M in daily volume lately. Volume doesn’t map directly to price, but it signals market attention (mindshare). We should rethink a couple of core ideas: - Incentives that go only to gamers - Token design that relies purely on “real” demand When Maplestory Universe rolled out $NXPC, they used a few smart plays: - Handed out eye-popping incentives to Korean exchange users - Average in-game rewards < average exchange-event rewards - Yet top-tier gamer rewards stayed generous Casual gamers earned less than exchange users, but the move flipped market sentiment toward $NXPC. After launch, people felt FOMO. Traders noticed the token and warmed up to it. That blend of real demand, a clear token story, and trader appeal sent volume through the roof. It’s hard to chalk that up to “Nexon’s backing” alone. For the Ronin ecosystem to light up again, we need to attract fresh capital. 1. Dig up narratives that hook traders 2. Make trading incentives feel less taboo Even now, when the metaverse narrative pops, folks grab $SAND and $MANA. When P2E buzz returns, they reach for $AXS. The moment trading volume truly clicks for the Ronin ecosystem, the whole scene could hit a real renaissance. We all know the potential is sitting there.
