@SadyPhan @ababexox @rfdra @InstagramComms Hey @SadyPhan Waiting the 24hr a didn’t seem to work for me either, so I ended up logging on through my laptop and put in my friends phone # so I could recover my account from there and she got the text right away and as soon as I entered it in, I got into IG.

@Keniab714 @ababexox @rfdra @mjyippiyo @InstagramComms Hey any updates?? I tried this and it didn’t work for me but I think it’s maybe because it wasn’t exactly 24 hours. Gonna retry tomorrow and hopefully it works.

We’ve resolved this bug now – it was causing people in different parts of the world to have issues accessing their accounts and caused a temporary change for some in number of followers. Sorry! 😵‍💫 twitter.com/InstagramComms…

@crypto_giants @ababexox @paranoiderika @CallieChung @rfdra @InstagramComms Yeah, she does have an IG too. I’d say give it a try against and ensure whoever you are sending the code to doesn’t have the # 32665 blocked, cause that’s the # sending the notification.

I waited for 24hr hours and then re-downloaded the app and that didn’t work, so I jumped on my laptop and entered in my friends phone # and the recovery code was sent right away and I was able to log in once I entered that # in.

@paranoiderika @CallieChung @Keniab714 @rfdra @InstagramComms If you already started waiting the 24 hours, I’d just wait it out! I also tried to simply use someone else’s number and it didn’t work. I’d start with waiting the 24 hrs and trying your number again, if that doesn’t work, use a friends number

@ababexox @rfdra @mjyippiyo @InstagramComms I read somewhere to ensure the # 32665 isn’t blocked on your phone, cause that’s the # that is supposed to be sending you the code. I checked my phone and I did have it blocked, so I unblocked it, but it still isn’t sending me the code lol didn’t work for me, but it might for you

@Keniab714 @rfdra @mjyippiyo @InstagramComms I haven’t checked. I’ve read a few Reddit threads who said to log out and not even open the app for exactly 24 hours and try again to send the code… so I can only try again tonight at like 9:30 EST lol 😩

@Keniab714 @InstagramComms Having the same issue since 4:30 pm yesterday. I’ve requested the code probably 40 times. Am not getting it. Sent it to a different number and still not receiving.

@Nicomarrie19 @InstagramComms If yours asking you for your #, so they can send you the confirmation code? Mines been doing that since last night and it never sends me the code.
