Starting December 1st 2024 at 2AM we will start enforcing the Winter Parking Ban from 2AM to 6AM. All vehicles must be removed from all residential streets everyday by 2AM until 6AM.

Due to favorable weather the Village Board has postponed the start of the winter parking ban until December 1st 2024

The winter parking ban in the Village of Kenmore has been lifted.

The overnight winter parking ban has been extended in the Village of Kenmore until 2AM on Friday December 15th.

Traffic Alert: Delaware Avenue will be closed between West Ferry & West Utica starting at 12:30pm this afternoon. The closure is expected to be in place until later tonight. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.

Garbage and recycling pick up are canceled for the rest of this week. Pick up will resume on Tuesday January 3rd due to Monday being a holiday for New Year’s Day.

Parking on Village streets is still prohibited until 6 am Wednesday morning to allow the DPW to clear the streets. The travel ban remains in effect throughout Erie County.

As a reminder, a Driving/Travel Ban is in effect for all of Erie County. The northern part of the county, which includes Buffalo, is in horrible shape. The southeastern part of the county did not get as much snow but still has Blizzard conditions due to the wind.

There is a travel ban in Village of Kenmore.This means only emergency personnel and essential personnel are to be driving on the roads. The Village is prohibiting the parking of any vehicles in the street in the Village of Kenmore. Both of these are in effect until further notice

The Village of Kenmore announced that will reinstate its winter parking ban effective 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022. Street parking is prohibited from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. regardless of weather conditions.
